The iPhone speaker is pretty weak. You can buy expensive speakers to plug the iPhone into, sure, but sometimes you just need a little more volume. You can make these speakers in about 5 minutes. It is also a great craft for kids to do to help their parents!

One paper towel roll Two disposable paper cups Scissors Pencil Paint (optional) An iPhone
1 - Gather the cups, a paper towel roll, and any other accessories you might want.
2 - Cut a rectangular hole in the toilet paper roll for the iPhone to fit into.
Cut out three sides and leave the 4th as a flap to help support the back of the phone.
3 - Cut another rectangular hole in the paper towel roll so you can reach the iPhone home button and music menu.
For this hole, remove all of the excess paper (cut all sides). You can also go without this hole and simply pull the iPhone out of the paper towel roll to change song or volume.
4 - Trace circles in the cups using the paper towel roll using a pencil.
Cut out the holes in the cups.
5 - Put the paper towel roll into the cups.
If desired, you can paint the whole thing with spray paint. Choose any color you'd like and spray away. After painting, leave it outside for the paint to dry. You can also add other decorations or write on the speakers, as you like.
6 - Place the iPhone in the speakers.
Hit the play and speaker buttons. It really works!
